In the wake of the debt crisis we must rethink our economic system to produce sustainable growth and a viable monetary union in Europe
It has not been a good summer in most of Europe – economically, that is. Against a background of growing concerns about the world economy, preliminary data indicated that growth in the eurozone came to a grinding halt in the second quarter. Economic activity and employment weakened further in July.
